Announcing The End Of Diets!

Did you know, 52% of adults worldwide are overweight or obese? And, did you know that 64% of adults in the UK are overweight or obese? That’s 33 million people right now! This problem is BIG and it’s getting BIGGER.  

Being overweight is not just about appearance. There’s a lot more at stake. This BIG problem is in many countries and is costing them their money and quality of life. It’s costing the UK £54 BILLION a YEAR! Fad diets and short-term fixes may give temporary results, but they create greater problems for the future. So, the nation keeps getting fatter and sicker.

How many diets have you tried over the years? I bet some of you have lost count. I know I have. You lose weight and feel great but, slowly and surely the weight goes back on and for some, much more. So, what do you do? Will you try the next diet that’s trending or give up?   

Don’t you just hate it, when you see some people eat and eat whatever they want and never exercise and still don’t put on weight? I do. In fact, I feel quite jealous of them. You see, I think the key point here is to “not diet.” I’ve read articles in the past that suggested that because of following so many kinds of diets unsuccessfully, over so many years it has messed up our metabolism and our bodies.  

I was one of these people, always trying to stay slim, being careful of what I ate, exercising and trying one diet after the next: Nutritional biscuits, protein drinks, tablets, Atkins, Dukan, Keto diet, you name it and I’ve probable tried it!  

However, an important realisation over the past couple of years has made me look at food differently and that is; our bodies were not designed to eat processed or genetically modified food. And I believe that it’s because of these GM and processed foods that ‘we’ have become so obese and sick with so many diseases and find it hard to lose weight and keep it off. I mean, just look at the amount of JUNK FOOD/FAST FOOD people eat and increase their weight in doing so.

So, I began to eat solely natural and organic foods and found it helped tremendously, though I still had to exercise but ate a balance of protein, little fat (full not half-fat) and foods that were low in carbs and high in fibre. I managed to maintain my desired weight this way. So, it wasn’t any specific ‘diet’ it was just eating non-GM and non-processed foods while being careful not to over eat but still allowing myself to have some organic cake or organic dessert at least once a week. There are many desserts you can make easily or find in heath shops.  

Unfortunately, after doing so well with this way of healthy living style, early last year my financial situation changed dramatically, and I was unable to afford to continue buying these types of food for quite some time and yes…. you guessed it, I went back to eating cheap every-day foods and put on the weight again (around 4 kilos). However (happy ending in sight lol), right now it’s early September 2018 and I’m doing great and very happy, due to something new I came across very recently. I’m so excited to tell you what I’m doing now, so read on further to find out.
